You do know that humans will never stop?
We are genetically engineered to be curious. And we must not stop searching, even though cosmic questions, rationally speaking, are unanswerable imponderables. Someone like me wants a higher power most of the time. The driver of this need is fear.
I, for one find atheists a bit dull! Though some of the time I myself am one. No offense intended.
I wonder is avowed atheists falter sometimes in their beliefs.
When I ‘turn it over to my higher power’ it works like an anodyne — It gives me pause to reassess what I have control over. As it turns out, very little!
