With all due respect let me just say that ‘spitting anger’ would come naturally to pretty much everyone who’s perhaps not directly experienced Israeli excesses of unthinkable unnecessary butchering of whole clans but are living through it with Palestinians.
Social media is a universal force. The images and wailing and mutilated purple babies are etched on every heart.
We too are falling prey to minor viruses and sundry bodily afflictions like rashes and diarrhea to mention a few. We all have PTSD, those of us who can see through a mother’s eyes the beautiful shattered bodies of teenage sons.
How much killing will sate Israel’s desperation to keep out those filthy animals as Netanyahu and army overlords say? The paranoia is causing mass murder now gone into full blown genocide.
I for one do not want Israel to be wiped off the face of the region. Thousands of babies mothers fathers tortured stripped naked and left to shiver in the cold for hours. I want humane treatment for Palestinians. I want fulfilled lives for all Jewish people. I’m not at all a hater. I’m not blind and deaf. Just stop the brutalization. Gaza is a series of killing fields. Now there’s talk of ‘salting’ ga🌹Listen to Israeli govt and generals talk. Does it do something to you? Does the word untermensch not resonate?
As for Hamas, most Palestinians want what you and I want— human basics to conduct lives of joy and honor. Armed wing will be neutralized by Palestinians themselves.
Incidentally, Hamas is a govt body which over the years built infrastructure like Israel’s. Only less sophisticated. Hospitals colleges libraries roads multi storied buildings with flats you get my drift. Mind you, against great odds. Palestinians would be snipered every day. Target practice, Israeli boorish pimply soldiers would laugh.
From the outset, it was all WRONG. you guys hate the word Naqba. I’m not an Arab. Just a world citizen who cannot ignore Israeli terrorism and muscling ways. Rather than contempt, it should evoke a sense of wrongdoing.
I want humans to be called humans. I want Israel to see itself. Really see itself. I see shades of what awful stuff was done to millions of Jews and others.
Live in peace. If any Palestinian survives.
A scorched earth policy is in effect.
The rose was a slip of the finger. But it turns out it’s appropriate for Gaza. And all those who have history in the region. Including your parents and you.
