What we are experiencing in American life is what the capitalist Tsunami is leaving in its wake- ugly jetsam and flotsam of humanity. It’s a global trend, I’d say. But here in the heartland of capitalism hearts and souls are permafrost.

Americans are turning into ugly ice sculptures you see at rowdy corporate parties in tacky hotel lobbies. It’s grotesque to see them dwindle in the aftermath of a bacchanalia.
