Western notions of feminism fail to take into account the rest of the world. I find that ludicrous. Culture and class are really important to consider. What does feminism or rights mean to a woman in the Indian subcontinent who’s struggling with subsistence living conditions?
Do we ever reflect on the social structures of developing countries? Many isms are alien to vast swathes of world population.
