We have america to thank for annihilating centuries of antiquity and stability of sorts. In Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya. We trained ‘freedom fighters’ in Afghanistan to battle the bogeyman of communism. Did we really think that they would stay enslaved by our whims? Taliban came back to bite us. ISIS reared it’s heads like a hydra. We bombed entire villages to kill ONE terrorist. Overnight, thousands were radicalized. Suicide bombers have nothing to lose. They’ve lost everything already.

We orchestrated coups and replaced democratically elected leaders with puppets. Suddenly Iran had an emperor who unleashed a reign of terror. American-trained torture experts routed out all dissent. Of course a khomeini had to happen. Pakistan and america have played smart ass games, each thinking they’re using the other. Result? Complete confusion and rich pickings for consultants and generals. Nothing political happens in Pakistan without a nod from usa.

Then there’s Saudi Arabia. The most retrograde nation in the region. America’s puppy dog. Or is it the other way around? We wax eloquent about human rights but turn a blind eye to the brutality of Saudi ‘royal family,’ a random tribe propped up by the British.

It’s easy to oversimplify situations and vilify other regions. Our role has been less than stellar on the world stage. Don’t get me started on South America, Vietnam …

Trump wanted to butt out of other countries. Spend American $$s on America. He wasn’t all stupid.
