Unwounding the Wounds

~ a poem on the immaculacy of love ~

How vast

How borderless

Love can be,

An ocean

Above

a sea of incoherence.

How ignescent

How uncaged

The flight from

Selfhood’s tyranny,

And that lesser beast,

Mortality

And fear of Mortality,

Which will not

Let songs of

Triumphant surrender,

That continuum of lyrics

Like organza ribbons,

Embrace all which

Even death might smile at,

And walk away
