Genocide of indigenous peoples, brutal slavery not only of Africans but great numbers of poverty-stricken Irish, total and complete exploitation, soft slavery since ‘freed’ slaves were needed to work the fields and paid next to nothing….

Surely you yourself can pick up the list from here. But you won’t. Americans have not only been conditioned to believe that democracy is a ‘thing,’ but the jaw-dropping reality of self-indoctrination and safety in numbers of like-minded Americans is mind boggling.

For someone to have the fascist tendency to uphold violent and brutal police action is in itself reprehensible.
