Umair, thank you for your wake up calls, resounding through the years, mainly on Medium. I’m afraid for America, very afraid. There are many of us but not enough. That is my fear.

But hope springs eternal. Still, the roiling cauldron of bigotry and violence is too deep and veneer of ‘Civilization’ too thin. It’s been stripped away. The world laughs at us.
