They excel at mediocrity at best. They pay lip service to democracy but at heart they’re all self-serving bigots. By being flaccid, uninformed and passive, they’ve welcomed in a new era which was long in the making. They are complicit as such.

A Trump doesn’t just happen. As you say, it’s a progression of trespasses which go unchecked since there are no longer any checks and balances.

I’m appalled at the breadth of Executive Power. I’m appalled that our taxpayer dollars have bank rolled a massive show of silly hollow pomp and power for a tinpot dictator. Trump is now closely aligned with the generals… seem chillingly familiar? We gave him the green light to wow his flock pre-election, by not raising a single alarm in defence of democracy and civilization.
