I’ve hardly met any. I’ve been stopped multiple times by white cops. A brown woman in a European luxury car, horrors! Mind you, no infraction. I have a flawless driving record. I’ve been kept waiting for over 20minutes while they pretended to check me out.

I’ve seen White policemen jump on black cyclists for no reason at all. I find it distasteful to be stamped with naïveté by someone who is not American. The dread in us Muslim brown folks is palpable. So no, your watered down apologist attitude is frankly quite superficial.

Walk down the streets of Washington DC to get a taste of police hostility. Oh if you’re White, you’re quite safe.
