Why have we been sapped of strength, eternally?
My experience with Pakistan is the following :
Subcontinent kicked out British imperialists.
What they left behind is deep indoctrination -
They cast us in their mold. Pakistani elite is proxy sahib memsahib culture.
India had Nehru and Gandhi whose philosophy was diametrically opposed to Pakistani leaders’. U like Pakistan, They consciously stayed the path of self sufficiency. Isolationist. No western interests were wooed.

An upstart nation intent on land grabbing after the Holocaust of Partition. Natural progression was to land in American arms. The rest is history.
Today, Modi’s India, though islamophobic, walks shoulder to shoulder with the west.
Pakistan is a failed state. I’m oversimplifying but to my mind when foundation is lost in lack of purpose failure is inevitable.
It really kills me.
