Thanks for speaking for us. It’s a call for unity. Heaven knows we need it.

We are too fractured as a nation. To me color has ceased to be the enemy. Hatred is the darkest foe. Ever. Can’t hate back, it only corrodes my soul.

I love your analogy of the bridge. It seems though that it was a bridge too far.

Your poem raises many questions, at least for me. How do we even begin to patch up that which has been rented asunder? We must find solutions or perish. Well done!
