Smallpox was ERADICATED in Pakistan back in the 60s. Vaccination was free and mandatory. And unlike Americans, Pakistanis seem to care about each other. Tuberculosis cases are rare, as are polio. Malaria and dengue are under control. We stay calm and carry on, as politicians, generals and feudals wreak havoc via land grabs and bribes! Medicines are cheap, familial ties strong. We have practically no retirement homes full of lonely people. It’s no Shangri-la, but hey, we don’t lust after toilet paper rolls. First world problems, i tell ya!
