I’m fascinated— religious bias overrides hatred of immigrants. A blue eyed white blonde Jew is first and foremost a Jew.
In the case of us Muslims, well, we are all terrorists!! And ignorance about the world is a comfort zone. I’m neither an Arab nor Indian. I’m Pakistani. I’m tired of having to clarify that over n over again. Which begs the question— why even ask? I don’t ask white people where they’re from. See how deeply rooted white supremacy is?
I’m blessed to have choices— I can return to Pakistan any time or live anywhere in the world comfortably.
