Much as the global situation is dire, I still believe we can inch back from the edge of self-annihilation. I speak of humanity. If we are capable of saving endangered animals, surely we can breathe new life into dying human attributes!

I don’t obsess over America any more. I used to. Capitalism has eroded our souls to a point of no return. We who lust after toilet paper have no idea how little the developing world makes do with.

I look to the rest of the world — at poverty, hunger, health issues, women’s rights which are negligible in developing countries, and do my bit. That might be through donations to trustworthy organizations etc. I’ve learnt to think globally.
