Most of what we buy here in USA is made in China. Apparently the average times a garment is worn in china is three. Then thrown away. Here at home it’s seven!

India decided to isolate itself from western products and multinationals. The result was that pretty soon India was making its own cars, motorcycles, scooters, blenders, irons and other appliances. Of course, once confident of it’s own ability to produce consumer goods, India opened its doors to imports.

My point is that we’re not as deprived as the west tends to think.
