Just like we the USA tried to ‘neutralize’ Taliban in Afghanistan, spent 20 years, billions of taxpayer $$$s, huge suffering and loss of life, our own troops with PTSD and Afghanistan in ruins. Currently 80% of the country is now in the clutches of Taliban who are spilling over to Pakistan to consolidate themselves. Why leave now??? Makes me furious. All for nothing. Region is plunging back to medieval times.
