Off and on I take Xanax. It helps. But makes me stupid. I mean, I'm a poet and I need my words and ability to develop a poem.
Where I come from a prescription is not needed for much of anything. People pop xanax like tic tac! Here in Usa I'm glad it's controlled.
I've tried every trick in the book to get REM sleep. Can't sleep for more than 3-4 hours. I fear I'll get dementia if I don't sleep enough!
Long term use of this class of drugs effects memory. So I'm avoiding xanax like the plague!
