It was fairly obvious Larry, looking at the crowd and hearing their language how disenfranchised they are. When you are constantly fighting to survive — food, health, roof over their heads etc, looking at McMansions and gas guzzler European cars, esp in the hands of colored folks, would fill any desperate person with negative emotions too. Ugly things like hate and rage are easy to foment.

They are fellow Americans and it’s time to look beyond Trumps evil manipulations and look after millions of them. If we don’t, they will remain susceptible to exploitative forces. Do I condone mob violence? Of course not. I empathize with those who have very little to live for in real terms. I’ve never seen anything like the ugliness on Capitol Hill and I’ve lived through much political turmoil, coups and attacks by fanatical religious mobs. But in America? Didn’t expect to see that.

White supremacy is a separate matter.
