It may sound pedestrian and trite, a cliche. In our ‘me’ society we have forgotten to practice kindness.

At the pharmacist today, I noticed a very old gentleman holding on to a shelf for support, teetering dangerously. Everyone pretended not to notice. I ran and grabbed a chair for him. He didn’t know how to react. Hesitantly he sat down. He thanked me to which I replied, rather loudly ‘we must take care of each other. We have forgotten. That’s how we can make america great again.’ I was happy to get a few smiles and nods.

What happened to us?
