It can be. I see what you mean. The way I look at it, throughout history, men have held power over women. And wielded it to exploit not only women but those vulnerable or lower on the rungs of society. They still do. The analogy may be awkward — It’s a bit like white privilege to me. Those who have it are at an advantage, always. How they exercise it is a different matter. But as you say, it’s a multifaceted issue.
