In my experience, and I’ve spent time in ‘white’ countries, it’s not exclusive to america, this superior garb of whiteness. Is it any different in Europe? Australia? Canada? I think not. Let’s face it. It’s a ‘thing’ and it’s universal. Heck, in my native country, my rich family was convinced no man would marry me due to my shockingly wheatish complexion. For money, maybe. Rest of my family is blessed with ‘fair’ skin you see.
