I’m following you now!
Why writers/ essayists don’t explore abstract ideas leaves me wondering whether we’re losing the ability to transcend physicality.
Many concepts and perceptions need to be redefined. And not just at a personal level. They are shifting sands.
I still am confused what democracy truly is and where it’s actually working.
In many countries it’s a sham.

What is hospitality? Thoughtfulness? It’s means different things to different cultures.
I’m from Pakistan. We get alarmingly bad press but you know for all its chaos and inequities, the concept of hospitality rules supreme.
I’m embarrassed when my neighbor, a widower nearly faints when I take food over for him. He can’t believe that a stranger can care. To me that’s sad. We’re supposed to care for each other. But here in usa it’s all gone nuclear. Lonely places full of suspicions and mistrust. I have zero hidden agendas — it’s just what we do back home for each other. We Americans could do with some thawing!!!

And some noblesse oblige.

Cheers!
