I must admit, I find your article noteworthy. I’m a bit biased!
Modi and his goons have caused a huge rupture in Indian society with their vitriolic rhetoric against Muslims. And the violence they incite. Like Netanyahu, Modi unashamedly bashes Muslims and has delusions of grandeur. It’s scary. The state of minorities in India is one of living in constant fear.
He may have been good for India in the short run. I suspect the hounds of Muslim hate he’s unleashed will be the greatest disservice to Indian democracy in the long run.
Modi is a shrewd unscrupulous man. I admire his grit but despise his fascism.
