I admire your rigor and sense of contentment.
When I moved to America I went quite mad buying nonsensical rubbish. I hang my head in shame! Consumerism has taken too many casualties, it’s a deadly trap which I’ll never fall into again. Less is more. Literally. Peace of mind. Gratitude. Ability to share with those less fortunate. Charity is not the dirty word many Americans scoff at.
In my home country, without philanthropy safety networks would cease to function for the needy. Sharing is a tradition.
