Good article. I agree, religion is divisive.
What is even more globally divisive is imperial dreams.
I used to think we 🇺🇸are the most civilized entity in the world.
That was a myth.
We are actually a shallow nation with a dubious short history. Proxy wars in which thousands have been butchered all over the globe. Cradle of real Civilization lies in a pile of rubble — thousands of years of history leveled. And it continues. Aid and abetting Genocide of Palestinians by Israel.
Our tax $$s billions of them, are butchering a whole ethnic group.
America has succeeded in the ultimate divisiveness — western North stands starkly apart from the South. Not just apart but blatantly crowing white supremacy.
Myth of democracy lies shattered. What power do you and I have? None. Except the power to pick up guns and butcher the ‘other’ and school kids.
Usa is still a culture of apartheid.
We are really not the pinnacle of civilization as perceived by most Americans.
