Thanks for your honest response. Couldn’t agree more. You nailed it. We’re on the same page here.

The list of atrocities against humanity perpetrated by USA against the world and its own people is substantial.

But we Americans are like Pavlov’s dogs. Consumerism has consumed us. But then that’s a hallmark of capitalism, right?

I was a child back in the old country when president Kennedy and Bobby were assasinated. I loved them both and I cried my eyes out. MLK. Malcolm X. And many other social justice warriors. We all know why.

Despite America’s perfidious reality, when I became a citizen years ago, I did feel a warmth in my heart. I hoped for an awakening which never came. Disenchantment came later when I discovered how immoral our behavior had been throughout our brief but lethal history.
