Umair’s essays have been prescient. I’m going through them again and it really shook me how much of what he wrote about has come to pass. Thank you for your intelligent defence of his work. And I’m mystified by people like the writer above who take it upon themselves to criticize, not critique, Umair’s work. I’ve yet to see another writer attacked on medium. Over the years that umair has been writing on medium, his passion has been a thing of beauty. He loves America. That much is clear.
