Hence it’s not a bias! The oppressed get that privilege. I don’t Have to be ‘Fair’ to British colonizers when I hold forth against the East India Company and subsequently the complete subjugation of a subcontinent. That was white supremacy. They enslaved our bodies and minds and still do. The minions they trained to serve them, the babus, live on in our heads. Sahib is always the master. Sahib is MaiBaap- mother and father. They’ve left a potent toxic legacy. I despise myself as a victim of it. Why did I choose to come to america when in my own country I was rich, educated, part of the elite? That question itself is of the essence. It’s burnt into my soul. I betrayed myself.

We brown people still get cowed down by white people. I admire the Herculean power of black thought. Black people are not cowed down though still deeply oppressed. My friend, when you speak of bias towards white america, there is none. Now I’ll get attacked for that comment but I will never be apologetic for it.

Be well, be safe 🙏🏽
