Great essay!

The pink salt mines in Pakistan, called Khewra salt mines, are a sight to behold! It’s like a maze/ beehive with many levels, having been mined from before Alexander the Great stumbled upon it.

I highly recommend a visit if anyone visits that region. The entire salt range is pink and desolate. Nestled at it’s foot is a Village and an unexpected treat — a tranquil blue lake with peacocks strutting about. Built during the British raj, a resthouse provides a nostalgic trip back in time.

Stunning sunsets and dawns! Moonlight too.

Be safe 🙏🏽
