Who are the ‘we?’

Do you and I have any say in the matter?
We all have sustainable, equitable plans to move our country forward towards a greater good. We have no power to implement. Or even have a voice.

Enlightenment is in short supply in governments. The upper cadre consists of individuals born into wealth, hence power. What do they care about us? Not a whit.
The myth of altruism and egalitarianism, stares us in the face. Democracy is what exactly? A farce. No one knows, anywhere in the world.
We are blinded and seduced by crapitalism.
Stop consumption of rubbish churned out day and night by neo slaves.

So more power to billionaire clubs of America. It’s all very feudal really. Even tribal I’d say.
The demarcation between the rich and poor could not be clearer in our era. Doesn’t sound much like American democracy to me.
Now it’s a clash of not cultures or religions but haves and have-nots.
