Yes, like many of your readers, I too have been told by many doctors how I look beautiful, not ill at all! Lol.
Back in the 90s I got Lyme Disease. The usual circus of false negatives etc etc ensued. Lyme was unheard of in the dc area at that time. I diagnosed it myself, by and large, many doctors don’t keep abreast of research etc, IMHO. I begged for Doxy and very reluctantly my doc relented. That saved my life. Well into the disease tests came back positive from NIH.
Co-infections were unheard of so unfortunately I was only treated for one organism. So today, I suffer from many auto immune culprits.
Stress is a trigger. Spices, red meat and excessive wheat products are toxic. Walking, nature, laughter gratitude and noblesse oblige work wonders. Vitamins and turmeric too. Strenuous exercise is an enemy!
