You know, what you write is dogmatic and pedestrian. All religions are arcane. Practiced in that form, they seem absurd.
It’s a pity you got caught in literal application of Islam. But it’s a personal choice.
I find it claustrophobic when people denounce religions to prove a trite point. And tiresome.
