It seems to me that humankind, as it made history, has always been deeply divided into powered and disempowered. Enlightened and ignorant. Kind and cruel. And so on.
The gulf has never been bridged.
Early Man’s society was the most egalitarian, before hierarchies formed. I’m just thinking aloud, bear with me!
