During hard times the upper classes remain untouched. Everywhere.

It’s shocking to me that British working class is really suffering. Makes me sad.

It gives me no pleasure that the empire which gave no quarter to colonies it stripped of resources and caused famines, robbed antiquities, and treated us as subhumans is now in dire straits.

No empire lasts forever. Britain will have to do away with ridiculous costs of clinging to monarchy and reinvent itself.
