Doesn’t that hold true of pretty much everything that runs the engine of capitalism?

The view you take is rather simplistic and binary and makes Afghans look like eternal parasites. That’s called hubris and arrogance.

We should never have been there in the first place. Who made the most money? Contractors like black water with deep associations with every usa government did.

Military machine needs wars. Simple as that. Your speculations as to how Afghans are going to survive without the paternalistic guiding hand of usa strikes me as rather absurd. That’s imperialist thinking.

If drugs were legalized there would be no poppy fields or crack factories here at home. But corruption of every kind aids and abets production and distribution of drugs, guns and other tools of control.

You forget that we are the ones who created ‘Mujaheddin’ and subsequently Taliban. Without usa interference none of the awful terror organizations would exist today. Usa bought Pakistani generals who were only too happy to play us. It’s a huge can of worms, best leave Afghanistan alone. Life finds a way.
