I have been down with Covid and stuck overseas. For over three months! Which is not all bad — since its my original home! Summer is a killer but the mangoes? To die for! Dozens of varieties which dovetail into each other… and i dont feel like the ‘other.’

Im getting back to my writing, but slowly. And reading Medium gems.

Please do your best to avoid covid, its a nasty thing.

Well, my covid brain has me writing poetry in Urdu, my native language! Which i was hardly taught. Perhaps im channelling my mother who was an urdu poet.
