Are new Medium Algorithms Third Rate or Am I Being Punished??

Let’s get to it.

I’m a poet with 2.7k followers. And 40+ subscribers. For me it’s a flattering figure.

In MAY my poems and some prose had 1.7K views.

It’s the 23rd of JUNE.

So far I’ve had the royal number of 127 views.

Now I’m not someone who’s prolific. But I’ve written 3 new poems and received no comments, good or bad.

Are those who signed up for emails not getting them?

Or do my new poems/ prose simply suck??

At this point I’d like to mention that I do feel strongly about horrors in Ghazza and comment quite a bit on articles by some outstanding writers whom I follow.

Of course I follow plenty of writers whose work resonates with me. Poetry, art, climate change, nature etc.

So it’s not as though I’m obsessed 24/7 with moral compasses of certain countries.

Any ideas? Anyone else out there with similar experiences?
