All over the world, we see this happen. What is unexpected and shocking is that one sees it as a basic construct of American life. The most affluent society in the world lives in fear and panic, a state of being which has become inter-generational. Having lived here for decades, my admiration has turned to profound sense of sadness. Homelessness has grown at a frightening rate right before my eyes.
