After reading “Frankenstein: birth rebellion and revolt” the world will never be quite the same again for me.

The book was part of our curriculum in what the nuns called 4th Standard in a system called ‘senior Cambridge’ O levels I believe. We found it tedious. The context was never explained to us.
Read only for literary merit, it’s beautiful language and the usual horror element of a monster on the loose, created by a mad scientist, and also because mary was the wife of my teacher’s favorite poet, we never went in the direction of commentary of a visionary on the massive social change, upheaval in what was perceived as the natural order of things.

And its metamorphosis into the monster we today know as Crapitalism.

What a glorious review Marc. Thank you Marc!
