A Love Poem Came In A Dream…

~ for us, all of us ~

Gustav Klimt detail “The Kiss” public domain

Like a hungry tree

You kissed me so deep

Nothing left untapped

Tongues became arms

Seeking sweetly

The flex of desire

Till wet clay inside

Turned to contours of salt

That wept for

What might have been

And was not
